Ceramic Dragon
I’m confused about setting up a bearded dragon vivarium?
ive been searching the web to find out about bearded dragon lighting and im confused about what i need. im planning to buy a 4ftx15inx16in vivarium in a 36 in uvb tube light and also a ceramic heat lamp for night time … but im still confused about how i control the temperature ??
You can either get a dimmer switch and rig it to the heat lamp or you can buy a rheo-stat (found in pet specialty stores) and plug it to the heat lamp. Both methods will control the amount of power going to the heat lamp and therefor control the heat produced by the lamp. You should also have a temp gage to tell you the temp; you shouldn’t be guessing.
