Fairy Voodoo
Question for believers & Atheists? Do you think atheists brainwash their children into not believing in god?
An atheist parent might tell their child that they should look for scientific proof before they decide to believe. I’m guessing they they don’t want their kids to believe in fairy tales and voodoo and witchcraft and other such hocus pocus. They probably tell their children to use logic and find sound evidence before their kids decide that they want to become a pastor or whatever. Some might call this “indoctrinating” their child into a purely scientific or naturalistic frame of thinking.
Do you think this is just as bad as the indoctrination techniques that believers and/or their community uses on their children? And how does a Jew for example manage to convince their kids that other so called false religions like Islam or Christianity are hocus pocus?
When I have children, I’ll let them make their own minds up. Just like theists: some will teach their children about the Bible, some won’t.
