What is a good magic fantasy book that is dark in the sense of being focused on an evil magician, etc.?
I am sure that dark fantasy usually refers to horror fantasy, fantasy with vampires, etc. But I am interested in a fantasy book that is dark (i.e., filled with evil, cynicism, focused on an evil protagonist, etc.), but whose characters are still magical (e.g., wizards). Any suggestions?
Either the twilight series, or the house of night series.
