What size street bike is good for beginners?

Okay.. I’m 19 years old, about 6’7″ and weigh around 190 or so. I am not really new to motorcycle riding in general, but street bikes.. yes. I have ridden plenty of dirt bikes and I’m very familiar with that. I was just wondering what would be a good beginner bike. I was thinking about getting a CBR600 or a GSXR600.. And I was also wondering if it is really that difficult in learning to ride one

High there! Since you are familiar with dirt bikes, and a bit oversized, a good street bike for you would be one of the dual sports or the super moto street version of a dual sport. (see link below) The handling will be very similar to what you are use to, so you we be able to pay more attention to traffic.

At 19 I’ll assume you’ve been on the road in a cage. The protection of a steel cage in a car means in a crash you have a 50-50 chance of zero injuries.You lose that with a bike, so accident avoidance takes on a higher priority.
