Here in Los Angeles they have just opened a high school in Griffith park right in the LA zoo and it is a school of animal biology and math and it has classes where you feed the animals, and I just applied yesterday! they say its new and its the only zoology magnet high school in California if you do not know what magnet is it means a school that focuses on like one career. So my question is as a zoologist or wildlife biologist do you think this will be a sucess and a help or boost to the zoologist of the future?
Wow..I just looked at the website..it sounds great. I did not even know about it and I live in So. Cal. Only wish they had it when I was starting school!! Glad that there is a school focusing on zoology and the environment..this program looks great for people going into college to major in zoology..they will have a great head start.
