Am I only among a few people who miss hand drawn animated features???

CGI was great when it was new, but now I feel it’s lost its charm. However, it never reach the greatness of old disney classics.
What I mean is, I love Shrek and Pixar, but I so badly miss seeing movies like Aladdin, the Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, or even Tarzan…
I heard that they’re making a movie called the Frog Princess (I think they changed the name) coming out in 2009 and it will be hand drawn. I really hope that it can sort of resurrect hand drawn animation…

I agree.

And yes there is a new “princess” movie coming out in 2009, and it will be with an African American princess. Which is truly great.

Also, Disney just had discussions about this very subject. They have decided that they will continue to do movies with CGI, but also plan to pump up the number of hand-drawn animated features as well.
