we know how to protect our body (from the cold, heart attacks) but how do we protect our mind/identity?

from being attacked? Modern Age Problem, I know, suppose alot of people will agree, because I see it happening all around me almost every week/ does anyone have a solution? (We can protect ourselves from the cold, by putting on warm clothes, hats, scarves, warm drinks, cars, heating, shelter)
Is human collective psyche energy, like picking up other peoples moods and emotions, like a type of empathy?
mood created by a group of people in a particular environment?

YES this is a good question.
surely our minds exsists, and just like there are many ways to ‘protect’ the body
(eg: from cold, from dehydration/ from a push/ from jsut any little mundane thing)
so too perhaps there are “many” ways and many things to ‘protect’ the mind from.

but how… as you ask.

well I nor anyone here could give a definate answer
as it is an ongoing question but maybe there are ways (as practical as ‘puting on a coat’) that exsists.
or then again it may be more mysterious and metaphysical than that.

but I guess with enough practice, all things and/or concepts become practical and tangible.

a good way I have heard is to use mental shields. ‘hate’ , contraversially enough, is one such shield.
when you hate something, your being tends to block it and shield ‘you’ from it. (this may seem very sad, but it may be so.)

and as this is an emotion, it exsists in the mental toolkit, if you will.
now if you are more bold and daring, another effective tool is, believe it or not,”love”.
love is universal, and it seems when you love something (iknow iknow, much debate over the meaning of love, but then you could ask, what is the meaning of ‘life’.. and there we go again..)…
so when you love something you tend to become ‘intuned’ with it and so less negative effect..so to speak.

consider this analogy,
hate would be as you puting on a coat when it is cold.
love would be as your body loowering the temperature it needs to be ‘warm at’ and hence you dont feel cold.

obviousely. it maybe easier to just put on the dang coat.
