Pewter Ear

Which flower would be your favorite to hang up on your ear?

Allergies not being an issue of course!

My flower would be from the rare Pewter tree! It’s delicate aroma would entice boys and girls alike!

Ah, the extremely rare and elusive Pewter tree. It’s so rare, in fact, there’s only one and it’s hidden in a secluded forest somewhere, I believe, in Paraguay. The tree actually only lives for about eight to ten months out of a year, and at the end of it’s cycle it drops a single enormous seed pod and then literally melts away into the ground only to grow anew a couple months later out of the pod. The tree grows extremely fast and gets quite large in width, like an umbrella, but never gets tall which helps keep it hidden under the surrounding forest canopy. The tree is very peculiar not only because it “dies” back each year like a typical perennial, but because it produces different sorts of flowers all in the same growing season. Further, the tree is self fertile and produces no pollen and, even more bizarre, the lovely flowers are encased in beautiful, glimmering pewter dew drops, so pretty. *sigh*

So I would have to choose a Pewter tree bloom as well to hang off my dainty ear. =)
