Mussels, frozen shelled, Can you suggest a main course recipe?
I have 750g ( three quarter kg) of frozen shelled mussels. Can you suggest a good recipe to use them in?
Please note that these are shelled mussels ( no shells).
Easy …… cut onion rings and saute garlic til tender , add peeled coarse chopped tomatoes with a couple of bay leaves and a couple tablespoons of dried parsley. Add frozen mussels with a cup of white wine. Simmer for 5-6 mins. til warm. Serve over cooked angel hair pasta or spaghetti. Sop up the juices with french bread… EASY because the portions are commonsense and do not require measuring.
