How do I set two-sided as the default print setting on a Mac?

Right now I’m manually going to layout and changing it to two sided printing each time, but I’d appreciate a way to set it as the default way to print in an application, especially Preview and Word.

Hi, I am not a MAC user yet, so I do not know specific details, but I can run through details I know working with Windows that may apply here.

Each time you choose to print double sided, you are changing the option through ‘File > Print > Properties.
In other words, you are changing the print settings through the program.

In Windows, you would need to change the default print settings from the Control Panel > Printers and Faxes

So in Mac, I am think you need to access the printer properties without having any other programs running. Once you save the settings, they should become default.
