At what level does WoW get more interesting?

I did the 10 day trial thing and got my NightElf up to level 16, but by then I was getting pretty bored with the game. I could pretty much fight on autopilot and the critters were pretty much the same. When does the treasure get any better than some skins and trinkets? I may go ahead and get the game, but I don’t know if I will subscribe if it is the same at level 30 as 16.

I think I’ve killed well over 200 tiger type critters at least 100 spiders and probably 50 bears or so. The most fun I’ve had was in some lair where I had to kill the baddies one at a time but not attract any others.

Also when the bad guy has a Skull for their level does that ever convert to a number when you have something of a chance against them?

For some people it never gets interesting. If you think you might like it and are willing to spend the money, then go for it. You’re pretty limited on the trial account.

Some love level 70. That’s where most of the action is now. PvP and instances, mostly. I’m not there yet, but I’ve been enjoying the ride up. Things got better for me when I found a guild with people in it. I played with my friends, but I have a hunter that I played with by myself, since our schedules conflict so much.

And yes, once you get closer to a high level monster’s level they’ll stop being level ?? and be level whatever to you. I believe they can be up to 11 levels higher than you before they start showing that skull.
