Vanishing Cane

Is my dog trying to tell me that somebody’s out there?

Please read the whole story. I’m 15 and gay and I’ve invited quite a few gay guys over to my house in the past and they were perfectly fine. But, lately when it’s late at night and it’s pitch black outside, my small dog will be sitting at the window and all of a sudden start barking and raising cane looking to the far side of the yard and I’ve heard stuff moving around in the woods before but now I’m getting nervous. Is he just barking at a rabbit (I didn’t see any thing at all out there) or is he trying to tell us that someone is out there? I feel unsafe in my own home at this point. My mom claimed to see a tall man in the yard and he vanished and then she saw him again in the doorway and my dog looks up at the doorway barking too and he vanished so is it a ghost or something? Or a stalker? I’m really nervous right now.

Did your Mom really see the man in the doorway? Do you mean a doorway inside the house?

If you think it is a ghost, yell in a deep husky voice for him to get out of your house. My mother did this when we sensed a ghost in our kitchen. He rocked a chair back in forth and then slammed it straight down on the floor. I watched from the laundry room doorway, and my mom watched from the living room doorway. We did not see a person (ghost), but we watched the chair move and be slammed to the floor. I called my priest later that day and had him come and sprinkle holy water everywhere and say prayers. He was very helpful, and we never experienced this again. Well, sort of ……………….
